I felt really productive and completed the winners' drawings in a day. Woo! I complete art really fast (which is why it pretty much always sucks) but I mean 2 drawings in a day is pretty productive for a lazy potato for me.

I'm really sorry about the fact that the face isn't focused. :P I think I did an okay job with the shading, wish I added a background though. Anyways, hope you like it, Cat! :D

Oops, forgot to crop it! But anyways, I decided to draw Violet's goat on the sidebar of her blog because I've never drawn an AJ goat before. Drawing it was super fun. :D It's just a simple little headshot drawing. but I hope you like it, Violet. :)

I was tagged by Sarahkey8 and let me just say.. I'm so sorry for doing it so late! She tagged me in this tag on 18th May and now it's 23rd June. I'm sorry, I just never got around to doing it. :(

Anyways, let's start answering some questions!

1. What is your favorite book/book series?

Hmm... I don't read too many books (minus school books of course lol) because I never get the chance to go to the library. But my school handed a book of ''Shakespeare's Stories'' last year and I have been stuck ever since. The stories are really fun! I know you're probably asking, ''Purple, you're 7, why are you reading Shakespeare?''. :cough: I'm not 7 and my school decided to put them in our course so why not?

2.  Do you prefer a good book, or a good movie?
As I said before, I don't read a lot of books with stories in them so I definitely prefer movies. I know I'm probably the only one in the Blogger community who actually prefers movies over books but I don't care. Everyone's different, okay?! XD3. What would you do if you got hacked, and the hacker took every one of your items, and deleted your whole entire buddy list
Um.. I'd freak out, of course! I know I can always buddy them all back but I won't be able to buddy back every single person. I am a human after all, I can't remember everyone. XD
4. What is your favorite animal (IRL, and pictures are accepted XD) 

I basically like all animals as long as they aren't reptiles or gross insects, but if I had to chose, it'd be either wolves or cats!

 

I mean, just look at this little bundle of adorable-ness! XD
5. What is your worst injury you have ever had?

I've never had any major injuries but the one time I fail off of a really high chair has to be one of the biggest. lol I know I don't have a life. 

6. Who 'introduced' you to blogging?

No one! I just wanted to make a website and ended up making a blog.

7. Would you rather be blind or deaf? 

I'd rather be deaf. Not being able to see would be awful. 

8. What  would you do if all animals suddenly died, and we only ate plants (or stuff like that that involves no meat) and we wouldn't have any birds, cats, horses, dogs, etc?

I'd probably just die with them. lol I'm sorry, animals are too precious to me.

9. What is your favorite animal in AJ?

Um.. Uh.. Wolves, arctic wolf, arctic foxes, bunnies, sheep.... and many more. I'm sorry, I can't just pick one! XD

10. What is your favorite thing in Nature

Animals and waterfalls. :D What a weird answer. o,o

11. What is your favorite 'storm' weather? (Light rain, big thunder storm e.t.c)

I LOVE it when it rains heavily.

Reacting To My Old Art Part 2! - The Not-so Old Old Art

Hello everyone! I'm so happy rn because the internet is better today! Yay! I  can finally post. :D

I know I said that I had no ideas, but this happened. I found a sketchbook from late 2015 and so I thought that I should do another ''Reacting to Old Art'' post! I'd been wanting to do another art post for a while, but I just hadn't been making too much art lately. Without further ado, let's jump right into my stupid old drawings!

OH NO. This is so wrong... The hair, the arms, the face, the legs, everything's wrong! I still can't color properly but THAT is awful.

LOL This is so wrong in so many ways. XDD The faaaaace. The worse part is, I was REALLY proud of this when I made it. I can't even, just, nope. Next! XD

Edit: I redrew this yesterday! 

I used the same color pencils so that's why it looks really similar. :P 

Yes, that's a pony. I'm an MLP fan... :Purple's true nature has been revealed and now she's dying:

Seriously, why did I draw girls like they were aliens back then? WHY, ME?! Also, that's a VERY bent Starbucks drink, just sayin'. XD

You know when you get a sketchbook and promise not to ruin the first page but ruin it so badly that it looks like it's burning? Well, this is one of those times. Everything's wrong yet again. That creepy pumpkin though. O,O Also, why would a Vampire want to burn the Earth?!

Eeek, this was art for Nafaria9 but it looks so bad! It was my first time drawing a deer but still, it's embarrassing. Such awful anatomy. Especially the neck and the legs. O3O

Anyways, that's all the art I found. Which drawing should I re-draw? I want to see how much I've improved. :3 But I know that I don't draw like that now. Improving slowly is much better than giving up completely. :)

Art Contest!

Hey guys! I'm SO sorry for the lack of posts. I've been working on so many projects for my channel AND this blog. I'm really un-organized at the moment. My Youtube channel just hit 1,000 subscribers so I'm thinking of getting back to it! :D I also have some plans for this blog in mind but I don't have any post ideas. 

Well, one of the plans I had was to host an art contest. I won a short wrist in a livestream so I finally thought of a way to use it. :D

My FIRST ever Art contest! I'd be SUPER disappointed if nobody joins since I've been planning and working on this Art Contest for ages.

1. Create your art. It can be traditional, digital, made out of clay, a masterpiece or whatever.

Art Dump 2!

Hello jammers, and welcome to a brand new post! It's Purplestarclub and I like llamas!

Ever since March/February, I've been obsessed with digital art! As you might know, I do mostly traditional art, but now, I think I've started making a lot more digital art. So, I decided to show you all my recent art and see what you guys think of it. I definitely think I have learnt a lot! The biggest improvement that I see in my art is that I've sort of jumped out of my comfort zone in the past few months and started giving shading!
Anyways, let's not blabber too much and get right into the drawings!

First off, I have this drawing! This is my wolf, in a human/chibi form. I decided to put a snowy background behind her since my wolf's clothes represent winter a lot. I worked super hard on the hair. The one thing I don't like about this drawing is the mixture of no lines and lineart. If you don't understand what I'm saying, I'll explain. You can see that the skirt has no black outline, neither does the hair, but the sweater does. This doesn't look the best together. But I did work super hard on this drawing, so I won't criticize it too much! ;P

I know this probably looks weird to you, but the character you see in this drawing is actually a plushie that I have. I love it SO much that I've drawn her a lot of times. She's really cute IRL! I decided to draw her in a watery background for some reason. XD I'm not proud of this one, but it was just a quick drawing I wanted to do since I was bored.

This one's older, but it's still okay. The anatomy is really bad though! I made this for my Youtube friend, PawPrint AJ. I drew the music notes since she makes a lot AJMV's on her channel.

Don't mind the little errors here and there! XD I wasn't able to give this to her earlier but now that I actually have enough time to give it to her, she has changed her main look! :cries:

This was my part of the art trade with an AJ Instagrammer. I worked all night to complete it, and I really think that the subtle shading gave the drawing some life. I wanted to work harder on the flowers but then I realized that flowers are the trickiest little things that I could never draw, so I just sorta gave up. 

I think I drew this in March. I love the background, minus the huge stars in the front. XD I just added random light and dark spots on the drawing, but I do like it a little. The tails is too puffy, but I don't care about that. XD Also, this is my arctic wolf! :3

I didn't work as hard on this one. I just sort of had a ''I want to draw something, anything!'' feeling. So I decided to draw my first main look, Blossom ShyBunny.

My Part of The Art Trade with Crazcatlover + Sarahkey8's Requested Drawing

Hi guys! I'm sorry for being lazy and not posting yesterday when I had a ton of time. I really wanted to just have fun with my buddies on AJ, that's all! :P
So, recently, Crazcatlover (an amazing AJ artist) agreed to do an art trade with me! I was overjoyed over the fact that she didn't decline, considering the fact that my art is absolutely crap compared to hers. But anyways, I managed to get the piece done within two days. :clap: Wow, sooo productive. Am I right? (Sarcasm)
Here it is:

:Screams: It's SO bad. I've never drawn polar bears before so I'm sorry that it looks awkward. Don't let me get started on the pet lion... Also, how does one draw with a mouse? The only thing I actually like in this picture is the background. R.I.P Anyways, I shouldn't be salty, it's better than what a 2 year old can draw (<---- That was me failing at complimenting my art.) 

Now, here's the one for Sarahkey8!

Before I say anything, I'm sorry for being so late! I actually drew this right after you requested it. But I was super disappointed with the drawing so I just forgot about it. D: It's been way over a week since she requested it, I feel bad for giving her this so late. 

The drawing would've been ok, but since Sarah's bunny wears a hood and no matter how hard I tried, the hood would've looked bad on a human. So, I just gave up and drew it anyway. The coloring is really bad on the dress, but eh...

You're probably like, ''Purple, why are you so salty about your art? Or are you just doing it to get compliments?''. Well, the truth is: I hate when artists are over-confident about their work. So I just become my own art critic and I take it way too far. Now, it has become a habit. I compare my art a lot too so that's why I simply hate my art. D:

Actually, I think I should show you guys a piece I made that I'm actually proud of!

This is the AJ Alpha Tavie as a human! I spent a lot of time working on it, and that's why I like it. The anatomy and hand looks really bad, but that's because I spent more time working on other stuff in the drawing rather than focusing on the anatomy. :P

Oh, and I just wanted to let you all know, yet again, that my exams are starting from April. That means I'm planning to lower my i-pad time AND completely removing computer-watching from my schedule starting from Monday. So, no more posts! But I will be kinda active on Instagram and I will still be commenting on blogs. Once April comes, I would completely be absent from the community. I really want to get awesome grades this semester because I'm planning on asking my dad to get me an AJ Membership in May/June if I get good grades! Hope you understand!
